Ethiopia—legend has it, this is where it all began. The first coffee plant is said to have been discovered in the Sidamo highlands, by a herd of goats! It has spread it's roots across the world from there.  This is why we roast our single origin Ethiopia light, to preserve all the natural characteristics of this region.

This lot of coffee, grown on Bombe Mountain in the Sidamo region of Ethiopia, has truly impressed us from the moment it arrived.  We got the fresh aroma of sweet pineapple fruit the moment we opened the bag.  Roasting was a floral delight and cupping it for the first time had us excited for it's unique qualities!

This beautiful crop features sweet, fruity pineapple notes.  The aroma is sweet and present over the cup from the first sip to last.  This coffee has perfect balance between sweetness and acidity (just like a pineapple!), and the mouthfeel is light and tea-like.
